How the writing on Everyday Vitality Life gets made, what it will not do, and what happens when I get something wrong.
Who writes here
I do, all of it, under my own name. Nothing on this site is bought from a content mill, and there is no byline here belonging to a person who does not exist. If that ever changes it will be said on this page first.
Description, not prescription
The pieces here describe what a body notices at a particular hour. They are written in the first person on purpose, because the first person cannot accidentally become an instruction. Where I have found something that softens an ordinary afternoon for me, it is written as what I do rather than as what works, since one person over a few months is not evidence of anything except that one person.
The line this site does not cross
No health claims. Nothing here says it will improve your sleep, raise your energy, balance anything, or fix anything, because I have no basis for saying so and because a sentence like that turns a personal essay into a medical assertion. No diagnosis, no symptom checklists, no causes offered for how anybody feels. No supplements, no wearables, no protocols, no plans, no numbers to hit. Where a piece brushes against something that ought to be looked at by a professional, it says so in the piece rather than leaving it implied.
What is deliberately absent
No star ratings and no scores. No invented product cards. No prices quoted as fact, because they move and a stale price is a small lie. No before and after framing, which is the grammar of a promise even when no promise is made out loud.
Where confidence comes from
From having paid attention over a long time. If a piece rests on a single strange week it says so. Where I am repeating something someone told me rather than something I have sat with myself, that is marked as what I was told, not as what I know.
Money and independence
Some links earn a commission, set out in full in the affiliate disclosure. No company reads a piece before it goes up, no company pays for coverage or for a conclusion, and a commission has never decided whether something gets mentioned. Where the two would conflict, the piece keeps the sentence and loses the commission.
Updates and corrections
Every page shows when it was last updated. I revise these when a reader corrects me or when I find a better way to describe something, and a revision of substance carries a note about what changed rather than being made silently.
Not medical advice
This is a personal site about the felt texture of an ordinary day. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for talking to a doctor. Tiredness that does not lift, or that arrives with anything else that concerns you, belongs with a qualified professional who can actually examine you.
